Alias Name:Di-n-butyl Carbonate, DBC
Property: It is colorless and clear liquid, and is flammable and not soluble in water, with mild smell, boiling point at 207 DEG C (96Kpa) and density of 0.92.
Function: Dibutyl carbonate is a good solvent, professional senior lubricants matrix of Aerospace ,can be directly used as lithium-ion battery electrolyte, and has wide application in the fields of the metal degreasing, leather treatment and the like. It can be used as the intermediate for organic synthesis to compound diphenyl carbonate to further synthesize polycarbonate. In addition, it also can be solvent for special spices and intermediates, or novel fuel oil additive substituting methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE).
